England rugby squad: Chandler Cunningham-South ruled out of three-day training camp as Steve Borthwick names group

England will be without Chandler Cunningham-South and Benhard Janse van Rensburg for their upcoming three-day training camp ahead of the Autumn Nations Series due to injury, while Fin Smith has also been ruled out.

Head coach Steve Borthwick named his 36-player squad for a three-day training camp on Sunday, ahead of gathering at England's Performance Centre at Pennyhill Park.

Uncapped forward Kepueli Tuipulotu and scrum-half Archie McParland were both been named in the squad, while Harlequins prop Fin Baxter also returns to the England squad following a 10-month injury lay-off.

Sale Sharks' Joe Marchant has also received a call-up for the first time since the 2023 World Cup after the winger returned to the Gallagher Prem following a two-year stint with Top 14 side Stade Francais at the start of the 2026-27 season.

Seb Atkinson, Immanuel Feyi-Waboso and Guy Pepper were all included in the squad and were listed as being in injury rehabilitation.

Borthwick's side announced on Monday that Gloucester Rugby's Charlie Atkinson has joined the training squad to replace Northampton Saints star Smith, who will continue his injury rehabilitation with England.

The fly-half is understood to have injured his calf during Saints' 28-7 loss to rivals Leicester Tigers on Saturday.

Borthwick is expected to offer an update on Smith's injury on Tuesday, ahead of England facing Australia at Allianz Stadium on November 8, Japan on November 14 and New Zealand on November 21.
